Dear Brian,

Many thanks! Of course, a good part of the credit should go to Wesleyan
University Press and its director Suzanna Tamminen. It was she who
encouraged us to do such critical editions of these Verne novels, and she
also agreed to publish them with *all* their original illustrations. The
Press has not made much money (if any) on these books; they have truly been
a "labor of love." All Vernians owe a debt of gratitude to Wesleyan and its
excellent director for their generous and continuing support.

Amitiés,
Art
