Yes, although the Ashmore version is so heavily abridged from the Hoey translation to fit the standard length of the Fitzroy texts (almost always not exceeding 190 pp) that it can't be said to have truly tried to to combine both volumes, except as a sort of "Reader's Digest" version.  If I remember correctly, Art described some of the cuts made in the Forum in years past in this edition, so that it sounds almost like the German combinations Volker notes.

   Dear Brian, Is "The Mystery of Arthur Gordon Pym" by Edgar Allan poe and Jules Verne, 'devised and introduced' by Basil Ashmore part of the Fitzroy series? (My edition was published by Arco). Marie-Helene
