I always have and always will hate Daylight Savings Time. It is a nuisance
and completely unnecessary. Why have it at all in Britain when the sun
shines until late anyway during the spring and summer months. The whole
thing is an exercise in the absurd! I'd rather that we all stayed on
standard time year round, but there's a snowball's chance of survival in a
blast furnace of that ever happening again.

Subject: The BBC is considering time

To mark the change from GMT to BST on Saturday evening, the BBC has launched
a special time website http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-12849630
which examines time differences across the world. It's very interesting, but
there is no mention of Fogg's encounter with timezones. Should I ask if they
intend to mention it on Saturday?
