We have acquired a game board for a ³Le Tour du monde en 80 jours² game
which bears the imprint of ³Imp. Roche Frères.² Other posts in this forum
and research I have done online indicate that there was a c. 1915 version
and a c. 1880 version. It looks to me that the ones dated 1915 have a
different border than ours and lack the Roche Frères credit. Is there
anyone familiar with these games who would know if ours might be the older
one (or some other version)?
I have posted images of the board and a preliminary description at
http://www.georgeglazer.com/decarts/toysgames/aroundworld.html .
Once we determine the date we¹ll add references, a condition report and
price.
Thank you,
Helen Glazer
