Nice to see our Portuguese speaking friends enjoying a French author (as I know that in the past France and Portgual have not exactly seen eye to eye). You might like to know that in 2008 (I think) I blogged on behalf of Axel Lidenbrock (and would be happy to send you the summary in the English language) and am also hoping (with as many fingers crossed as is humanly possible) that my local theatre group will chose my adaptation of the story for their winter 2012 community production. If they don't (or even if they do, but not until after ours in January 2012) would you be interested in a copy for possible translation into Portguese so that your school's drama class could put on a production for the rest of the school (or indeed the rest of the community)
If my plan to follow Jules into the realm of local government (as part of our local elections next year) doesn't work out, I am hoping to blog about "Five Weeks in a Balloon" and will be posting regular updates to the Forum as the journey takes place.
