Craig,
It ain't that easy. The book is about step by step rebuilding of civilization on a desert island. It is a great read, but I cannot imagine how this "evolutionary" theme could be transformed into film. Perhaps Terrence Malick could imagine, but I wonder he has not enough inspiration himself...
